Breathtaking views, but room needs love
The majestic mountain backdrop set the stage for every moment, making mornings feel special while enjoying coffee on the spacious balcony. The easy walk to downtown was also a plus.
However, the hotel shows signs of wear and could use some updates in cleanliness. The lack of individual air conditioning made nights uncomfortable, and the stair access was inconvenient with heavy luggage.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was below par, with black hairs found throughout the room, including the bed sheets, and mould present in the bathroom. Access was awkward due to the confusing sightline of floors, and a non-functioning safe added to the frustrations. Additionally, there was no option to enjoy drinks from the bar in our room, which felt a bit limiting after a long day of exploring.

Stunning views from the room definitely made my stay enjoyable. The mountains and lake created a beautiful backdrop every morning. The bed felt amazing, ensuring restful nights. Walking into downtown Queenstown was a breeze, taking only about 5 minutes. The breakfast buffet offered delicious pastries, though I wished there were more choices. However, the hotel shows signs of outdated maintenance. The furniture in the room felt tired, and I found the spa area quite disappointing with limited amenities. Additionally, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. the toilet wasn't regularly cleaned and some towels were frayed. Even though the staff were friendly, I expected more from the housekeeping services during my stay. For the price, improvements in cleanliness and maintenance are necessary.

The breathtaking view of the lake from my room was truly the highlight of my stay, offering a picturesque backdrop at every moment.
The internet access was quite limited, only available for 24 hours despite my four-day stay, which was frustrating and inconvenient.

I loved my stay with the spacious room and the impressive lake views that made every morning feel special. The indoor spa bath and cozy garden area were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I did have to ask for extra towels, but it didn’t take away from my great experience. 😊

The Copthorne offers stunning mountain views from the rooms, providing a picturesque backdrop that enhances the experience. The convenience of being only a five-minute walk to downtown Queenstown is a significant advantage for business travelers. The staff are highly professional, ensuring that all facilities are maintained well and easily accessible.
The amenities incur additional charges, which can be a drawback.
